CAB Capital Group: Creating Value for Investors and the Community at Large
CAB Capital Group is exploring new opportunities for investment with a keen eye for innovation and mutual benefit. The team is always looking for unique ways to bring value to their investors and their community. CAB Capital is currently pursuing two beneficent new ventures: increasing awareness and education about FinTech and international investment opportunities, and supporting the development of Section 8 housing through CAB Realty. New CEO Luis Felipe Fuenmayor hopes to take the company to the next level while providing even greater value to investors and everyday people.
New Leadership, New Directions
CAB Capital Group is a private investment firm with more than 15 years of experience in the finance sector. Created in Panama as a small business with a keen eye for innovation, the company quickly expanded its operations to Colombia and the US.
Luis Felipe Fuenmayor accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer at CAB Capital Group in July 2021. Born in Colombia, Fuenmayor came to the US on a soccer scholarship at the age of 18. After college, he went back to Colombia to study and work in the financial sector. He eventually went on to pursue his MBA at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Returning to Colombia again, he worked for several companies before creating his own, TANTRA Imports Ltda. After two decades of studying and working in finance across the world, he joined CAB Capital in November of 2020, becoming the company’s CEO less than a year later.
CAB Capital is Creating Exciting New Opportunities
CAB Capital blends traditional finance with new technology, such as FinTech and Crowdfunding, to craft innovative and strategic financial solutions for investors. The company believes that we must integrate these elements to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by the globalized, tech-fueled modern market. CAB Capital’s unique approach and commitment to innovation have helped to establish the company as a leading name in the global private banking sphere.
Bringing Security to Investors and Tenants in Need
CAB Capital has recently turned its attention towards a new avenue for low-risk investments through a disruptive product from one of the group’s companies, CAB Realty: Section 8 housing. Finding new tenants can be a challenge for many landlords, especially during periods of high rent prices. With Section 8 housing, the government can keep units occupied and rent paid on time, as they have a long list of tenants waiting for an available property. Some property owners are working directly with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to rent through a project-based voucher. This means that as soon as one Section 8 tenant moves out, the next in line will take their place. As the government pays a portion (sometimes a majority) of a tenant’s rent, Section 8 housing investments can make for safer, more reliable investments.
CAB Capital: Finding the Human Impact
CAB Realty’s Section 8 housing endeavors have brought a meaningful human impact to CAB Capital’s work, something that Fuenmayor is glad for the company to find. “We’ve always been glad to discover new ways to bring value to our investors, but with CAB Realty’s work in Section 8, we have an opportunity to make a real and direct impact on people’s lives,” he says. The team is working hard to bring as many new investors on board as possible. Over the next few years, they hope to expand their work in Section 8 to help as many people in need as possible.
